We require payment in full for all reservations at the time of booking. We accept all major credit cards to secure your luxury Santa Fe vacation rental. Your nightly rate includes a comprehensive cleaning fee and a 5% administrative fee that covers credit card processing and our premium accidental damage protection program. This approach allows you to understand the full cost of your stay without surprise additions at checkout—one more way we honor our commitment to thoughtful hospitality.

We understand that planning the perfect Santa Fe getaway requires thoughtful consideration. We're pleased to place a courtesy hold on your selected property for up to 24 hours, allowing you time to finalize your travel arrangements while ensuring the space remains available for you.

We offer a 24-hour grace period after booking during which you may cancel with a full refund. For cancellations made after the first 24 hours but more than 14 days before check-in, a fee equal to 10% of the total reservation applies. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival are not eligible for refunds. We recommend travel insurance for unexpected circumstances, which our concierge team would be happy to arrange for you.

Check-out is at 10:00 AM, allowing our staff to begin the meticulous preparation for the next guest's arrival.

Doña Luz offers a seamless self-check-in experience tailored to each property. Depending on your rental, you'll either receive access to a secure lockbox with a physical key or a personalized code for an electronic keypad. Detailed access instructions are provided at booking, seven days before your arrival, and again via text message the day before you arrive. This thoughtful communication ensures you can begin your Santa Fe experience without delay.

To preserve the exceptional air quality and subtle aromatic experiences that distinguish our properties, smoking is not permitted within any Doña Luz home. Guests who wish to smoke may do so outdoors, at least 15 feet from theproperty. Please note that evidence of indoor smoking will result in a $1,000 fee to restore the property's intended sensory experience for future guests.

From most Doña Luz properties, you can expect a 45-60 minute drive, depending on current weather conditions. This mountainous drive is part of the Ski Santa Fe experience, offering spectacular views of the surrounding Sangre de Cristo range. During ski season, our concierge team can provide current road conditions and arrange for equipment rental delivery directly to your property.

We understand that extended stays may require deliveries, particularly for special occasions or specific needs that arise during your visit. You may receive packages via FedEx or UPS at your Doña Luz property, but please note that our properties cannot receive standard USPS mail (which includes some Amazon shipments). Important: Please schedule deliveries only for dates when you'll be physically present at the property, as Doña Luz cannot assume responsibility for packages that arrive before your check-in or after your departure.
